Selecting Your Bridesmaids Dresses...
Are your bridesmaids giving you grief? When selecting a bridesmaids dress, less opinions are always better. Before making the trip to the Bridal Shop do some pre-planning. Have your color selections carved in stone. You can select the gown itself on your own, but if you want the input of your bridesmaids select no more than three dresses that you would like worn at your wedding and present them with those choices. A bride is entitled to have her wedding party look the way she wants it to, but no one wants to wear a dress that is not flattering or makes them feel uncomfortable. For the bride that is really not particular about the matching dresses, give your bridesmaids some guidelines as to a specific color, style for example tea length, floor length, sleeveless, etc. and allow them to choose their own dress. Separates are also a good way to have some unity with more flexibility. Please be aware of your bridesmaids financial situations and not select costly ensembles for them to purchase. It is always a plus to select a dress that they can wear again. Your Bridal Consultant can also assist you with your selections as well as keep track of fittings, costs, etc. Last but not least choose your bridesmaids wisely.
