Just another way to have fun with wedding planning

Wondering what to do with the snapshots given to you by wedding guests, or the multitude of photos from the reception disposable cameras? Why not try scrapbooking? Scrapbooking is a fun and fulling hobby. Beware scrapbooking is addictive, once you have created that first page, you are going to want to do more. Not sure where to begin? Take a scrapbooking 101 course offered by most craft and scrapbook stores. These courses are generally inexpensive, but provide you with a good foundation to begin your projects. More advanced classes are also offered if you want to raise the bar on your pages. Be creative when making pages, show your personality and don't be afraid to embellish, capture the moment on paper. If you are not feeling creative there are several kits and pre-built page layouts you can purchase. Materials for scrapbooking can become expensive, but if you take advantage of coupons and sales it will make your projects affordable. Some local stores that offer coupons and up to 50% off sales are Michael's, Hobby Lobby, A C Moore, and Joann's fabric and craft stores. Although it so easy to do so, don't become a scrap collector and purchase bunch of scrapbook supplies and don't use them. The alternative is to plan each page and buy only the materials you will use. Expand your projects with other events of the wedding, scrapbook your engagement party, showers, rehearsal dinner, honeymoon, and your anniversary. Make scrapbooking social. Check your local craft stores for cropping events, or even host your own scrapbooking party. Ready Set Scrapbook!
