Color of the Day...

The Pantone color of today is Light Lilac. Keeping with that lilac theme here are some drink recipes to add a little pizazz to the party.

Purple Martini

Ingredients:
•2 oz vodka
•3/4 oz PURPLE juice drink
•1/2 oz triple sec
Preparation:
1.Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
2.Shake well.
3.Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Purple Cosmopolitan

Ingredients
•1/2 oz. Curacao, blue
•1 1/2 oz. Vodka, lemon
•1 splash Cranberry Juice
•2 wedges Lime

Mixing Instructions
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice (squeezing lime wedges into shaker and then dropping in the peels). Strain into glass.

9cl vodka
1cl crème de mûre (blackberry liqueur)
Pour the vodka and crème de mûre into a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a cocktail glass. The drink will be a clear and delicate lilac color.

Purple Cocktail recipe

6 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
6 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
6 oz blueberry liqueur
6 oz sloe gin
6 splash lime juice
6 splash sweet and sour mix
6 splash 7-Up® soda

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass, and serve.
